Reliable Flash Point Determination

With its semi-automatic control and copper test cup, the Abel flash point apparatus provides consistent and reproducible results for petroleum-based samples. The analog dial thermometer shows accurate values within a response time of seconds after test completion, making it ideal for routine lab procedures.

Safe and Durable Construction

Built with operator safety in mind, the apparatus includes a thermal shield, spill-proof design, and corrosion-resistant, powder-coated finish. It is designed to withstand laboratory environments and protect users from accidental burns or spills during manual operation.

Wide Applicability and Easy Operation

Suitable for a range of liquids such as transformer oil and petroleum products, the apparatus takes only a single specimen per test (roughly 75 ml) and can function in ambient temperatures of 5C to 45C and relative humidity up to 85%. Its ergonomic design ensures ease of use for lab technicians.

FAQs of Semi Automatic Abel flash point:

Q: How is the Semi Automatic Abel Flash Point Apparatus operated?

A: The apparatus is manually controlled and bench-mounted. Users begin by filling the copper test cup with the liquid sample, set the gas flame via an adjustable Bunsen burner, and monitor temperature changes using the fitted calibrated Abel thermometer. Accessories like the stirrer, spirit lamp, and test flame device facilitate the process.

Q: What types of samples can be tested using this equipment?

A: This apparatus is suitable for testing petroleum products, transformer oils, and similar liquids. It is designed for lab applications and accommodates a single specimen of approximately 75 ml per test session.

Q: When should I use the Abel Flash Point Apparatus for testing?

A: Use this equipment whenever accurate determination of the flash point of petroleum-based liquids is required. It is ideal for routine laboratory analysis and quality control within the measuring range of 30C - 70C.

Q: Where is the apparatus typically installed and used?

A: The device is designed for bench mounting and is intended for use in laboratory settings such as testing facilities, research labs, or industrial quality control departments.

Q: What is the process for conducting a flash point test?

A: To perform a test, place about 75 ml of the sample in the copper cup, ignite the gas flame, and gradually heat the sample. The Abel thermometer tracks the temperature. As you manually operate the device, use the test flame device to check for ignition at increasing temperatures, identifying the flash point.

Q: How does the apparatus ensure operator safety?

A: Operator protection is provided by a thermal shield and insulated handles, while the spill-proof design and non-slip base offer additional safety during manual handling and operation.

Q: What are the benefits of using this semi-automatic apparatus?

A: This product offers precise measurements with high accuracy and quick response, durable corrosion-resistant construction, and flexible operation across a range of sample types. Its user-friendly manual control allows technicians to efficiently determine flash points while maintaining laboratory safety.
